Have you seen much debri in your coolant filter?

 

Actually almost zero, a few small pieces of something, not determined tho,

Update: the paint inside this filler started to peel off, so I took it off.

 

That's counter productive. What did the filter manufacture say?

I just removed it and put a new upper hose on.
Don’t need any issues if it failed once

 

Just an update on what can be done with tweeting the supercharger that’s run on methonal, with Stock ECU, Stock injectors, stock fuel pump.
NO 7th injector, NO piggy back, No high flow fuel pump,
I did a Dyno last week to see where I stand with stock ECU,stock injectors, just methonal added.

At 6000 feet my boost varies from 10 to 13 pounds depending on the temperature, humidity, barometer pressure, etc.

It was a warm day and my boost was on the low end at 10 pounds.
Dyno read 10 pounds when tested actually 9.8 and
The results were 273 hp and 302 pounds of torque at 10 pounds.
Each pound of boost is 12 hp at the rear wheel or so for my truck.
So at 12 pounds my rear wheel is at 297 rear wheel and 326 pounds of torque rear wheel.
13 pounds would be 309 and torque at 338,
Typical my boost is 11 pounds, on a good day 13 pounds on a bad day 10 pounds.

At sea level you can get more boost more power but still the TRD is maxed out around or a little above the 300 mark if setup correctly.

Torque goes straight up right out of the gate almost to max at 2500rpms,
So my rear wheel horses vary from 275-300 depending on the day
and torque 302-325 depending.
Stock 3.4 puts out around 150hp at the rear wheel.
Daily Driver at 635,000 miles.

 

John, when do you think my truck will need a fuel pump? i have 164k now and lately have been running the tank near empty to mid 17 gallons on a full fillup

i have to drop the fuel tank to clean & recoat frame area and not sure if i ought to just get a new one and not sure even how much that part is oem

 

My 1st pump failed around 250,000, if you take the bed off definitely replace the fuel pump, it’s easy, pump cost around 100 for the DESNO

you should venture across the state line and cruise the grassy sandhills
its not all flat here once you get off of I-80!

All cleaned up and supercharger is putting out some great numbers

 

Alright man - so what all have you done for the transmission to keep it running all those miles? Or have you replaced it at some point?

 

Never had a failure except the stick shift plastic ball which is common.

I run redline oil which makes it shift smoother and change the oil around every 75,000,
