Dont know, i think they were a beadlock but the solid axle made me :jellydance: ... he got the whole swap done including parts and labor for $4500 (I think it included parts & labor) from a guy on the Gulches forum, i think his name is Charlie! For that price i could afford to buy a custom axle.

That looks like fun. I saw some other pictures and it looked like a great little place. Ill have to try to make it next time. I like your truck. Do you know of a build thread for that truck on the right? Could Larry keep up with him with his front locker and crawler?

Haha, dude that is super cheap...you would still have to buy things with the TG i think but havent done a whole lot of research on SAS...it probably wont happen for me till after school so another year or so at least :/....Gotta start building up parts once i find a decent job

    Thanks!

Man it was a blast, best place ive been to but thats not saying much since the only other place ive been is durhamtown which is just a huge mudhole

Deffinatly come up sometime after the holidays...its looking like sometime in febuary most likely right now but ill keep people updated on that.

& that green truck was our "guide" for the first part of the day then he left and we went with that white cherokee but hte SC tacom didnt do much actual trail riding compared to the jeepp but yea me and larry hung with him pretty well and id say we out did the white cherokee in a few places...that rear locker played more of a roll in going up some lines! The crawler however did get defeated on one trail but i cant remember what it was called but theres a video of a stock jeep doing the same one on youtube  I didnt try that one though...nxt time i will give mine a little more hell and try some things the gide said i wouldnt be able to do but larry said would have been a piece of cake!

Sidewinder and Hearbreaker were the 2 big & toughest trails i did, and a couple numbered trails that dont have names but as much hell as you give yours i know you'd try out some that were pretty intense

That sounds good. Although it is a 5 hour drive, sounds like it would be worth it. Would yall plan to camp in february or just make it a day trip? Ill try to make it if I have my front diff.

Haha I might try some of those trails. Those trails look fun/challenging. The way I gauge if im going to try something, if Larry tried it, then i will. If he wont do it, then I probably wont either.

If you wanted to then they have a package deal worth $50 and thats from fri-sunday at close and after your first day on the trails they will allow you to do some night time riding....camping spaces were a bit small though and right nxt to the river and close to some trails but included the fire pits but you probably wont fit anything over a 4 person tent but that should be plenty or they are building a cabin that should be done by then that has electricity and and sleeps 4-maybe 6 cant remember exactly for 35 a night but the fun in going is to camp IMO...if i go then i will probably camp then too but depends on what days we decide to make this trip and i deffinatly think it'll be worth the ride up here.

Thats the way i decided if i was going to do it too, and the fact that if that cherokee went right up it then i could since his locker was acting up and he was pretty much open/open most of the time!

Not perfect but for the price they have held up great... & if you dont mind doing a bit of work to install them then i took my seats out and pulled them all real tight and tied em up under the seat and they have stayed pretty tight...but id say the qulaity of material made them worth it and the little bit of extra work...i got a pic floating around here somehwere of the driver side done up and the passenger side still loose and its a pretty big difference.

Camping sounds good. Let me know what dates your thinking about and hopefully we can have a successful meet at the place.
