I've got a question that requires some experienced answers.
Last week I ran over something; whatever it was, hit my prop shaft on my prerunner, taking a small chunk outta the yoke on the double cardan , or something like that.
My insurance will cover it, but my drive shafty is a 2 pc., and the only want to replace the back one [ damaged one ].
Why, I dunno, but it seems that its wise to replace both the front and rear shaft altogether. Could there be any issues with the newer shaft causing strain on the old one, or possibly not balancing?
I appreciate any help on this, I'm lost on what to do.
