I have J59s on mine and I think a 2" shackle would put me about 22" on 35s which is right where I want to be. But I haven't been able to find any info to confirm that. I'm basically building the same truck, but mine has an LS 5.3.

@Broke Okie Ty im running a 2" downey offroad shackle already, this is where it's sitting right now. There's also 2 tires in the bed and a bunch of build parts so its almost at camping weight. My bilstein's don't have any nitrogen in them either.

We also clearanced the front body mount and the radiator bracket for the steering box, the one in the picture is just a mock up box. The one I got is tapped for hydro assist down the road.

I've been scouring the internet looking for a 90 degree side bent banjo fitting with -3AN. basically this:

I've got a part number from goodbridge but they are about 20$+ shipping from the UK. I've checked all the obvious places - jegs, summit, Google search. A couple motorcycle shops popped up. But couldn't find one with the 90 side bend. I've got a place local to check out but after that I'll be at a lot more $$$ with no reasonable options

    None of these work?

    https://www.summitracing.com/search/product-line/goodridge-banjo-fittings

Goodridge makes brake line kits for motorcycles as well as cars. I would think that they would have what you needed, maybe contact them directly.

@Rockbaron1 just got my 80 axle all put in, saw your post in the BS thread. Do have any details on your e-brake cable install. Pretty much have everything buttoned but the ebrake. You using a stock cruiser cable?

@TacoTRD78 thanks for following the build and sticking with the thread, Me and the boys at rocksolidtoys @awsumdc have been making progress. Not much to report this week since Wyatt's out at AZ rocks having fun without me. I'm tieing up some loose ends, like rebuilding my rear shocks, and handling some brake lines etc.
Got my 7100's all torn down.

I used the stock tacoma e-brake cable. On the fj80 housing I cut the little e-brake pivot arm off and welded it back on the other side of the diff. The e-brake cable on a stock 80 runs down the opposite side frame rail. I also pulled the middle of the cable along the back of the axle up higher to try and prevent it from getting hung up on stuff, i will try to find a pic. Its still a rock anchor though

@Rockbaron1 my rear parking brake setup looks different than yours. I had the non-elocker rear, my pivot point is on the drivers side. pretty sure I could make something work. Im just going to wait till we finish linking the front and get it rolling to deal with that. It's not my daily driver so having a working parking brake isn't super important.

Yeah I had the stock elocker axle from the factory. Now that you mention it I think i remember the non-trd tacoma having the parking brake cable completely above the axle. You could probably find a way to make that work, or start looking for a new parking brake cable from an elocker axle. Hell i think even the fj80 cable could be made to work. I only used the stock one on my truck cause toyota replaced it when they did the frame and it was brand new

Trds also had the brake cable routing above the axle, that's how mine was setup stock.

My 03 trd off-road had the parking brake cable across the back of the axle under the leaf springs from the factory.
