All hid's will take a few seconds to warm up, theyll 'flash' then dim and brighten back up. so your not damaging anything, its jus how they work.

The up/down I adjusted with the factory adjustment screw, but my drivers side was slightly tilted to I was able to loosen up the lock nut (red arrow) with needle nose pliers jus enough to rotate the projector assembly to give me a even line. I did with with both projectors to get it as even as possible.

My high beams dont work right now either but i got a letter with my kit saying that if that happens then you can switch the brown and white wires from the harness (blue arrow) and they should work. I just haven't switched mine cause I run my rigid lights when i need more light.

had a chance to finally hit the trails yesterday. very happy with the suspension and flex. now jus need rear axle relocating plates since the tires rubbed bad enough to pull the flare off on the bottom.

little update. i was lucky enough to find a guy selling some used 285s which happened to be duratracs so i bought one to use as a full size spare. On my way back from picking it up the ski mtn was making snow so i took a detour thru the snow covered roads to test the duratracs. Also rigged my own 3 way tire strap to keep it secure.

just ordered some new brakes. going with powerslot rotors, hawk lts pads, and adding stainless steel 2" extended brake lines. I've read a lot of good reviews on these products so hopefully i get the increased brake response and longer wear. coming down the mtn from boone to lenoir several days a week is warping and wearing my current rotors out pretty quick

stopped by Budbuilt to pick up some goods. i had him make them with a gradual kickout since i don't see them that way very often. bought them as a kit to save some money too. unfortunately have to wait till christmas to install them

    They look sweet!
Why didn't they build them with one or two more support tubes toward the end of the kickout?

im honestly not sure. he had a set like these already made in the shop he let me hold up to my truck to make sure I liked them, and they had another support tube near the kickout, but they for a longer truck. I may see if he could add another support, jus for peace of mind.

all my suspension was ordered thru toytec. cv angles weren't too bad after the lift but i did rip one of the boots. so i installed the diff drop and new cv's with no problems since.
