Hello, finally joined but have been reading on this site for a while. Thanks to everyone that makes this site great.
My idea, I have a 2.7 taco and I am going to add a turbo. I was really looking at doing a remote add because of 2 factors. 1 I don't want to molest the truck. 2 I dont want to spend insane amount on a turbo manifold.
My oppinion and wants, currently I am pleased enough with the low torque it has. I am not looking to do boosted launches, tire burn outs or race anyone. I want to be able to decreas my 20 to 70 mph time to merdge onto the interstate or pass someone with the A.C. on.
My parts I have to work with. 1- stock 03 tacoma with 2.7. 2- all the parts off of a intercooler 2.0 turbo car. The turbo is a garret T3.Brand New.
My question, with a remote setup on this truck using the t3 turbo, what could or should I expect. Will it accomdate my goals? Hp gains between 2000 rpm to red line. How much boost could I get out of this set up. (Using air return that is the same size as air intake on factory)

FYI I don't go climbing with it either
Thanks for your time reading this and I hope you can have some solid advise and not just comments on what you think I should do. The stuff i have is what i have. My goal is my goal. And my wants are simple.
    Thanks in advance.
