Bought my truck in february 2015 with 140k on the odo. lunar mist 5speed v6 4x4 with 265/75/16's figured i'd start a build thread because i just ordered my first big parts.. An old man emu suspension package with the dakar springs in the back and 883's up front. Keeping it mild for now considering she's a daily driver, but we'll see how it goes. Here she is,

alright, so, i've had a few weekends to myself since the lady got a new job. found the time to do a DIY satoshi grille based off of tacomarotto's how to. i don't have many pictures of the process and I'm actually inverting the color of the grille and surround but the finished product doesn't look too bad. only broke the clips on one of my corner lights in the process. in the near future i'll be doing the swapping to blue led's in my gauge cluster. also looking to buy a welder to practice on and then try my hand at making front and rear tube bumpers. there are trails 2 minutes from my house that are just begging to be explored. just waiting on that OME lift.

Grill looks tough. What did you use to paint the wheels?

for the wheels I used graphite rustoleum flexidip, it's just a temporary solution until I grab some konig countersteers.
I also redid the grille today so it looks like it actually belongs on the truck. I'm definitely happy with the way it turned out.

Did the LED gauge cluster swap. I don't know if its good or bad but most of the time I find myself doing things just to prove that I can and not wondering whether I really want to.. But it turned out nice and I'm happy with it. now i just need a 4Runner ac panel to get rid of that god awful orange. used 4mm lights in the ac cluster and those just swapped right out. I'll post pics of that when that orange is gone.

Alright, finally got my lift on, pretty happy with the way she's sitting. i am getting a slight droning noise at times though which is concerning. But overall i love it. It rides so much nicer.
