Thanks... it's that way due to non-use at this point. Yeah, we don't have much rain out here hence the drought we're going through.

I did a rear set of brakes for my mother-in-law last July in Vermont... a simple rotor/ caliper replacement took 2 hours per side due to rust, jacked up bolt heads and so on. I give you guys credit in dealing with this while wrenching on your rigs.

I took my rear brake drums off to do a brake job, and ended up doing an fj80 rear axle swap to get rid of the drums LOL!!!

Nice... does your OEM emergency brake still function properly and what did you do for a master cylinder?

I am thinking on a rear Diamond with Supra discs. Supposedly the e-brake works with it, dunno...

I have not hooked up the ebrake, but it looks like with some finesse it will fit. I used the stock Tacoma master and the stock LSPV valve. The stock Tacoma brake system works great with it no need for a residual valve, my brakes dragged with one and the adjustable prop valve leaked like a sieve so i junked it.

Cool... did you also do the Tundra brake up-grade?

Glad to see you have your coilover situation fixed!

The shop that is building my truck is not a Radflo dealer anymore. I do not know the specific technical reasons, but they think Radflos overall are not a good quality coilover. After reading what you went through with Radflos, that's probably why!

You have killer coilovers now. That front end of your truck looks really good. Clean build!

Thanks... the Fox setup has greatly improved the ride for sure. The RadFlo's went into the steel recycle bin at work.

Rear shocks and compressor are going on/in 1st thing tomorrow morning. I have the base plate fabbed up for the compressor, just need to weld on 2 tabs and I'm ready.

    More to follow.

Can't those radflos be rebuilt? Maybe somebody out there might want to buy them for a rebuild

Hell, I would have at least paid the shipping cost to get them. If anything, I'd be interested in tearing one apart to see what was wrong and just to become familiar with the inside workings of one.

    ... they are gone.

The amount of material in the oil was not a good thing. The shop I was at said they will not rebuild them.

Just another bad memory in my build.

On Saturday morning, I was able to get my compressor installed. Needed to reconfigure the original bracket to fit above the shock tower. It turned out better than the original install I did a few years ago.
Rear shocks will be installed this morning.

    More to follow.

I installed the Fox shocks last night. No pics as this was just a swap like everyone else does. They do feel better than the ICON 2.0 VS Series I replaced. Rebound is much nicer.
The Fox have a different material for the upper bushings... it no longer squeaks when hitting bumps.

    More to follow.

    That looks really good.

I also like how those shock towers allow you to keep the air box in the stock location.

    Thanks...

I did leave a 3/4" gap between the bottom mount plate of the compressor & the top of the shock tower. This allows flex and clearance as the compressor is somewhat bolted to the body of the truck via hacked fender well.

I did add beef to the mounts which added some structural integrity to the fender well.

    More to follow.

Well I ordered the front driveshaft on Monday, I expect it to be ready by Friday.
Also, I ordered a pair of All-Pro 1-1/4" lift rear shackles which will level it out. Parts of the kit are back-ordered so I'll get them when I get'em.

Once I have the driveshaft installed, hopefully Sunday, I'll get some flex shots posted... so close to finishing this crap.

What d-shaft did u end up going for? Marlin's?

Also, what's the deal with backordered shackles? Jeez...such a simple part. These toyota vendors need to step up their game. That's ridiculous

I'm having a custom shaft made from East County Drive Shaft in El Cajon. Todd is very knowledgeable. I hope to have it this afternoon.

As for the shackles... all 4 bolts are too short and the 2 - 3/8" spacers are being shipped today. I did reply to Tracy via email about this w/ pics but no response yet.

    More to follow.

Lame! I have purchased a few things from allpro in the past and had good experiences with them...but they were big items like bumpers and leaf springs.

Curious to see how the drive shaft turned out. I haven't gotten to that part of the project yet, but I am hoping to get away with retubing the drive shafts. Might be able to pull it off for the rear...not so sure about the front.
