Went fishing yesterday up in the mountains with my daughter and went to hit the button to engage 4x4 and nothing..You can hear it doing it's thing but wont fully engage. I was told if you keep pushing the button over and over it will finally connect..NOPE! It works fine when we have cool weather but when it gets hot up in Northern Cal it's spotty or doesn't work at all?? No light on dash either. Any help before I take it to Toyota and have to bend over and grab my ankles. Thanks!

    Chris.

Is this small hose supposed to be plugged into the hole where the arrow is. It was hanging there. The small hose goes up and over the back transfer case and towards the front of the engine.
