03 Tacoma towing snowmobiles

So I have a clamb shell snowmobile trailer that can fit two sleds in it. I have only ever towed it once when I brought the sleds to my house, however now I will be going on a trip and will be towing them a pretty long distance. I am 22 and haven't had much experience towing anything so I was wondering if there were any tips or upgrades worth doing to ensure a safer or easier time. I read the very well put together post about towing that is on here however it said that the 1st gen trucks didn't come with a tow package and myne did so I'm a bit confused. I know it did because when I went to change the rear brakes I ran into a ton of problems getting the proper shoes for it as they are bigger on my truck.

As I found out it has bigger breakes and also a bigger battery

 

you should be fine to tow. leave yourself a little extra distance for stopping.

the "tow package" was a dealer installed option for 1st Gens. But that doesn't change the towing amount or habit, follow the guide and you're set

edit: does your truck have the VSC (Vehicle Stability Control) option? those were slightly larger rotors (at least) but not sure about the rears
