First off I've only had the truck a few weeks and I've had this same symptom happen 3 different times.
I was wiring a trailer light socket today and left the key in the on position for maybe 10 minutes. When I went to start it, it took a long time and eventually started.. Sputtering, and wanting to fall on its face but ran fine..
Seemed like the cylinders were loaded with fuel and had a hard time burning it off.

Is this common? All the other vehicles I've owned the fuel pump turns on a few seconds with the key on then shuts off until it's running.
Please let me know if any of you have had this experience. Do I need to change a part?
    Thanks

It does its initial light up then, NO lights when it's running.

You may have a leaking injector. Since the miles are so low, the seals could have gone bad if it sat for a long time
