    Hi Everyone,

Some success I'd like to share:

My truck has been thumping hard when coming to a stop or when releasing the brake from a full stop. I've read axle wrap could cause this so I always chalked it up to my straight leafs.

Today I pumped a ton of grease into my zerks and the problem is 95% better. I've greased my drive shafts a few times before but wasn't able to get the grease in all the fittings so I just did what I could at the time. Today I cleaned the crap off all the zerks with rubbing alcohol and was successful at getting grease into 8 of the 9 zerks, with the pleasant surprise of solving my thud problem.

I used Valvoline NLGI #2 grade Lithium Multi-Purpose grease for GM-Chrysler-European-Japanese Vehicles.

It's rear driveshaft slip yoke that causes that thud if not lubed properly. The U-joint and double-cardans don't move like that. But congrats for nailing it. Mine did that when I first bought it used.
