installed swayaway coilovers, downey shackles, diff drop spacers, and break line bracket back in 2005 along w/ some 15in wheels and 32x11.5x15 tires.

    Hey all,

For the past few years, I've had horrible squeaking from my left front coil over. took a while to narrow down where it was, but its the lower ball joint, or heim bearing, that attaches to the lower control arm. This has spread to the right side now. WD40 works for a few days, but im tired of it. silicon spray doesn't do jack from my experience.

Lots of research (google) tells me this is not a weird problem, as many others have the mouse of death yelling at them. I've read some older TTORA threads but the pictures are no longer working for the removal/replacement of them.

This link has been found, and I "think" this is what i need for my coil-overs. I shot Sway-A-Way an email asking them, but they haven't replied back.

    My question:

Are the above linked heim bearings what my Swayaway coilvers need on my 04 Tacoma? I honestly cannot remember the part number or model number for my coilover.

And: do i need special tools to replace them?

And: is anyone able to find some pics/vids of the replacements? My google-foo is not working. The older threads that list such do not have an active picture links working.

    Thank you in advance- JRoot
