I drove my grandpa's truck today and I was going 75 and the tach was around 25-2700 rpm's. Is this normal or not for an auto. Does this mean tranny flush?

    getting there....
probably pretty normal...although i'd think it would downshift to a bit of a lower rpm. my 04.......55 to 60 mph....im running right close to 2k rpm.

yes, actually. if you look up 25-2700 rpm's in the dictionary, it does mean tranny flush. glad we could help.
