    very interesting... I would have been pretty adamant it was a fuel system issue, the startup and initial few firings sounded great. Not very often on bad plug wire short/loose would cause the engine to stop completely, just misfire.

    I was ready to drop the tank to check the fuel pump. .. I was alost certain that HAD to be it. It would crank, run about 2-3 seconds, and shut off. I am SO glad I read, watched the videos to learn to operate the multi meter.... sure save me a LOT of work this time. At my age, health ,and being a small woman, I'm not even sure I could have dropped the tank lol, but I was gonna give it one hell of a shot lol...
