    Hi Guys,

    Long time reader, first-time poster.

I have made a few Satoshi-style grills for 05-10 Tacomas and occasionally place them for sale on eBay. It never occurred to me until today to offer it for sale on a forum before. I've sold a few through eBay and a few privately and have never had a complaint. I don't "knock these out," as I make them with the rule that if I wouldn't put it on my truck, I won't sell it.

Right now, I have one for sale on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...588726751&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MESELX:IT)

If you're interested in viewing the fabrication pictures, I have them posted here: http://s1090.photobucket.com/albums/i378/ian_moore_65/Satoshi Grill January 2011/

If you're interested in buying it outside of eBay, you can PM me, or if you're interested in bidding, feel free to do so.

If you have any questions, please e-mail me - I usually answer them within a few hours.

I'm sorry! It won't happen again.

The grill would be $190 shipped to anywhere in the Continental US and is located in Portland, ME. Pics attached. I have about 30 that I took during fabrication, which are located at the PhotoBucket link in the OP.

Thanks for the help, I've never posted to a forum before.

No, I'm sorry. I don't do color-matching (right now) because I live in a cold-weather climate and don't really have the facilities to do it inside my house (in the summer, I use my garage).

BTW, the grill on eBay has a few bids on it, so I'm going to let that one go, but I'm working on another one that should be done in a few weeks (or sooner). If someone is interested in that one, PM me and we can talk.

Sorry for any confusion about this one, I'm very new to this (forum posting) and didn't really consider just posting it here for sale.

These are made using aftermarket grills. OEM's are WAY too high for me to offer them at $190, unfortunately.

The only difference that I've really noticed between the two is the weatherstripping. The OEM tends to be a little more pliable and lower-profile than the aftermarket grills. I had a tough time shutting my hood w/ a bugflector over the replacement.

I figured after I saw a Taco with one of these locally that it would be a cool thing to put on my truck, but when I finished it, I realized that 6 months out of the year, it wouldn't even be on my truck (Maine winters), so I put it for sale on eBay and sold it right away. Since then, I've made a few to put some extra cash in my pocket for incidentals (Motorola Atrix) and some Christmas presents, but it's never been about the money per se. I'm honored that anyone thinks so highly of their quality that they would put one on their truck. My limitations are time (I work two jobs) and money, coincidentally (my wife would KILL me if I was charging $250 for each OEM grill to my CC). That's why I buy aftermarket - shipped to my door, less on my CC, less hassle, more people happy.

    Hi guys,

The second grill has been spoken for, but I've ordered a few more to work on, so I'm hoping to have them completed some time in the next three weeks or so.

To anybody I've quoted $190 shipped - I have to raise that to $200. The reason for this is that FedEx has significantly raised their shipping rates since the first of the year, which I wasn't aware of, since I haven't shipped anything since December. My margins are exactly that - marginal - and I can't afford to subsidize the shipping with them any more than I already was.

I truly apologize for the inconvenience to anybody that this may affect. Thanks for all the interest in these, it makes me feel good that I can make something that so many people want.
