    I'm concerned that the painted surround is going to be such fresh white in comparison with my faded dirty white that's still on the truck!

    Props to homer taco, I bought a grill and lettering from BPF. Spent 6 hours on it yesterday before I ran out of time. Going to work on it again tomorrow but I'm estimating another 5 hours to make it a clean job. For $550 for a custom grill and quality of work I've seen in pictures, that price is steal since he includes all the parts and paint.

    I'll be honest with you Craig, i tell everyone and anyone that asks about a custom grill or tries to show me his work.

    I know what quality looks like. I know the effort it took. I knew what I was not willing to get into. So I went directly to the best source there is; and I was happy to wait as long as you needed me to. ;)

    Someday, i'll pull it off, send it to you for a refresh, and when i get it back, i'll have a clear cover put over the painted surround so i don't have rock chips again like it currently has all over it :(

    But that is no fault of yours whatsoever, that comes with general road usage

    Sorry Homer, I did not know that he stole your design, your wait time was a month for parts so I started to search around. I'm a DIY and just got my truck so wanted to get things done to it as soon as possible. I've only been a member here for less then 2 months so I didn't know there was any history behind your grills and others.
