    Hello.

I am in the process of adding puddle lights to the factory mirrors on my 2009 - flush mount LEDs drilled into the mirror housings and wired through the door.

I've found a couple of write-ups (like this one) for accessing the dome circuit, to control the puddle lights with door open/close, but they all appear to be for 12-15s.

Can anyone point me to an 05-11 diagram, or confirm that they are the same on all 2nd gens?

For super bonus points, can anyone confirm whether the dome turns on with a keyfob unlock? My dome is currently burned out and it's easier to take another sip of coffee and type the question rather than get my meter out and check.

    Thanks.

I'm assuming these lights will work on the 3rd Gen mirrors??

I don't know if the mini pods fit under the mirrors, but you'd get a better puddle illumination if you install vleds weather proof strips near the pinch weld under doors.

I'm just popping in some 3/4" round amber side markers, facing down from the bottom of the mirror housings, for a little extra visibility getting in at night.

Anything on the underside will get destroyed by the CaCl they use in the winter here.
