Here's the fitment of the 05-11 wheels liners. It's not great, but also not terrible. Also do you have a link for the bumper brackets you're talking about?

If you can find someone who added steel front bumper and trimmed linner and they still have piece you can make it fit . Guy I brought bumper from also gave me the piece of linner he trimmed off

Awesome, thanks. It looks fine in your photos, but I think the fact that it doesn't line up with the holes would bother me. I will try and find a link for those part numbers. They are part of the eBay bundle in your links, but I saw them on the Toyota parts site too.

Those brackets go on the left and right side of the radiator support and hold up the three center bumper brackets running across the front.

Would a Gen 2.5 C4 Hybrid mount properly after doing the headlight and grill conversion?

Thanks for this badass post. Definitely will be converting my 2005 over after the V8 swap.

Hey can you keep the gen 2 hood or do you have to switch to a gen 2.5 hood to make the grill and headlights to fit?

I think a few people have left the hood but it looks ridiculous

Looks like a Gen2.5 TRD Sport, but really an '08 TRD OffRoad
    TRD Supercharged / OTT Tuned
(I'm knee deep in this conversion. In fact, I pick up my newly painted Gen2.5 bhood and bumper today)

The Gen2 hood will close (might not latch, though) with the Gen2.5 facelift but the lines don't match up. The curve of the top of the Gen2.5 headlights and the grille do not follow the leading curve/lines of the Gen2 hood. The hood will close but the lines don't match up.

It's like a kid coloring outside the lines on a coloring book. Looks tacky to some people whereas it's acceptable for others.

As for peeps not doing the hood swap. I'm not sure why. Buy a Gen2.5 aftermarket hood and then sell the stock Gen2 hood and recoup some $$$.

Curious if you want to say how much you paid to paint the parts. I want to do the conversion, but the paint price is are killing me.

I don't believe it's possible to leave the old hood, nothing lines up then.

Might as well not bother with the conversion if you don't swap the hood. :annoyed:
