I think the yuck factor is mainly the wheels, to me stockies kind of ruin the whole theme for now...but when the new ones go on it'll come to life then and look like an entirely different truck. It's all good in the hood, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that's what these forums are all about.

 

once he gets some nicer rims i think it will look BA. i like both lifted and lowered. both are nice and both have advantages and disadvantages. to each his own and as long as the guy likes the way his truck looks then im happy haha

very nice, can't wait to see what it looks like when its got the sittin sic coils. a good set of 20s will definatly look great. Black with a chrome accent would look real good. i almost bought a set of these rims in 20s

Technically it's a 3/4 drop, 3" DJM arms in front and 3" blocks and 4x4 leafs which give a solid 1" drop, but being he's extra cab and not really knowing the condition (or the abuse) the 4x4 leafs have been through, I'd almost say he got more like 5" in back, he's pretty low in the rear. As low as you can without crossmember and bed trimming mods.

 

is anything gonna be done to the trans crossmember? Looks like that would be a target for driveways and speedbumps.

I think the picture is deceiving. It isn't a issue at all. I'd have to take a measurement but it's never hit on any speed bumps or anything.

Yes, but remember, he has a standard cab and they're known to get about 1" less drop due to being lighter than the extra cabs. The weight and length of the truck makes a difference.

Thanks man! I'm waiting to see this truck with some new shoes on it. I haven't heard from Aaron much since I lowered it, but that's always a good sign from what I've learned.
