My 2006 6-speed manual has 80k miles and it is a towing truck. However I see no problems and it is still silky smooth. My only complaint is the tall shift spacing.

What are the exact malfunctions of your tranny?

2nd one lost reverse and horrbile winning just cruising...id just like to no if any1 makes a kit cuase i wanna supercharge it but if im gonna keep havin tranny issies theres no point ...id just have to ditch the 4.0 and go 5.3 chevy...at 64000 i shouldnt be havin these problems got 33s and some towing but not to much but when i tow i tow hard(4500-7800 lbs)...and some hardcore offroading and street action...but ive never had a manual go out like this and a old buddie had same problem...this is a auto issue not manual..

I love my six speed! I have 85,000 on the truck so far and it has never missed a beat. I drive 100 - 200 miles a day, mixed driving but mostly stop and go traffic and mine is flawless. I crank on her hard too at least half of the time. I dont understand how people can be going through trannies like this, unlucky I guess.....
