Talked to a new case worker today. She said ther only reason why my vin isn't eligible at the moment is bc the program hasn't rolled out in NY yet. Once NY approves the CRC treatment, owners will begin getting letters.

She gave an idea when it might start in NY, also she said NY will be the last region approved:

    Boston approved May 8th

    Ohio approved June 23rd

Chicago is next to be approved, then the mid Atlantic, followed by NY. She said to expect a new region to be approved every 4-8wks.

After I get the letter, I have to start the whole process again, dealer inspection, pictures, ect.

Where did you find out about the new approvals? Did the Rep tell you? What about the Mid-Atlantic, which states are included? I can't find out jacksh*t.

There is a letter attached to a post in the other thread from a member in mass. Mid Atlantic is second to last.

It's being issued as a corrosion resistant compound & therefore subject to dec review & acceptance. Frame replacements if there is perforation larger than 10mm

Yeah, I've already seen the letter. I'm wondering when they're going to approve MD, VA, NJ, DE, etc. They're considered Mid-Atlantic.

Yeah, those dates above were given to me by the a rep. Saying 4-6 per region. I added an extra two weeks for the usps.

New York is active now, signed in to the Toyota owners site yesterday after seeing a post in a different thread on this site. Sure enough there was a notification under the service campaigns staying that the lsc is active in NY. Good luck to all, my trucks going in next week. I'm having some driveshaft issues remedied now, after that's done it's time for a new frame and all the goodies that come with it.

NY is a go. I saw the active notice yesterday morning, followed by an email from the service manager. It's going in tomorrow for pictures & I was told I would be getting a new frame. Approx 4-6 weeks from now.

On a side note, I spend most of yesterday replacing the alternator....why is everything crammed in on one side?? What a damn nightmare!!

These frames are a joke. I cant believe all the people buying 2015 tacomas for 30+k knowing the frames rot out like this.

I should go look at mine and see if they did the same.
