If you do some searching here - especially in the Lighting forum - you'll find that this one's been covered many, many times. Basically, there are a ton of aftermarket headlights available with wide variation in build quality as well as longevity and beam pattern quality. Many of the aftermarket lights leak and / or allow condensation to build up inside - which ruins the light. Others have fairly poor beam pattern quality so you'll end up half blind at night. Still others use poor quality plastic and oxidize in very short order. If you really want a quality set of lights, do yourself a favor and either buy new OEM ones or find a good set of used ones in the classified section. Just my 2 cents.

Save yourself the heartache and get OEM. Ask @gunny1005 for a good deal.

I just got some Depot lights from ebay. If you get these make sure you seal them up. I used a whole tube of sealant on mine before putting them in.

The reason you need to keep doing this is because ‘restoring’ removes the UV stabilizer from the lens. Without the UV protection lenses will rapidly fog, much quicker than before being restored. If you apply a UV protectant after restoring you will not have to re-restore. You will just need to wipe some protectant on and wipe it off again every 6 months or so. I’d suggest looking at Mequires headlight protectant.

I bought a cheaper ebay set and so far in 7.5 months they look great. I've seen temp swings from -30 C to plus 10 in a day, no condensation
