This would be a fun rig to just have fun in, could be a race truck.

Your choice, but I prefer plain twinkies and bacon wrapped little smokies sprinkled with brown sugar myself.

Sure, just give me the $30K and take any part you want.
So buy it, or trade me something cool for it. Like something belt fed.

I've been thinking about your truck not only because I would love your setup also because I have been through many, many cars and never had any trouble selling them. Since a lot of people are steered away from buying because of the interior; why not put together an aluminum dash and make it more esthetically sound. I know it's not your thing and function over form is my first priority also, but you got to sell it as if it is not yours anymore.

X2, i think a little work on the interior will go a long way. Dont let something small like the interior ruin the hard work you've put in for the rest of the truck. Im sure it shouldnt be that hard to make it look nice and tidy.

Ya, ya, I've been working on it. Along the way I came up with some cool ideas that may make the truck a lot more useful for me expedition wise, so I might just keep it. Anyone know of a scangauge type deal that I can plug into the obd port to read rpm and speed? I have the log works deal for the iPhone, just want something permanent.

    it's between ultragauge and scangauge.

Aside from our trucks, the only other vehicle i would consider for an expedition/zombie response vehicle is an econoline van straight axle 4x4 completely armored out.

I'm planning a similar build on a double cab Taco. Curious about what gearing you're running to turn the 37's. It looks like it's pretty easy to come by the 37" Hummer tires. What are your wheel dim. (back spacing, etc.) and are you running spacers behind them?
    Thanks,
    John

Buying a truck like this though, the interior being stock is the least of my concerns. I've been watching this beast get built for a few years over the various forums the OP is on, mainly TTORA. This shit is legit.

Also, you completely owned the douchenozzle talking shit on TTORA. Probably the best F/S thread I have ever seen.

Good luck with whatever you do with it. If I had the money I'd love to have this beast.

I'm running 4.88 gears and recentered hummer bead locks from trail worthy. I am running a 1/4" spacer in the front to keep the rims off the brakes.
Also for you city slickers I'm prettying up the interior and doing soundproofing throughout. Bunch a crybabies, lol.
