Bah, this is one of those threads that will disappear for months on end and then be resurrected. I emailed the OP a while back about this and never received a response. Hell, for all we know he could have passed on.

Why, because you think SAS is the "cool" thing to do? This post shows how little you actually know or would need a SAS.

With the size of a D60 differential you would need to be running at least 40's to gain the clearance offered by a set of 33's or 35's on a Toy or a D44 axle.

Oh...and youd look under...not back, at every little rock you're hung up on.

Hit up the mall parking lot some more...

^ actually i remember seeing on the discovery channel on the most violent criminals in the prison system. There actually is a guy that can snap off handcuffs like that. They have to use special locking rod cuffs on him. Dude was a friggin freak of nature. Not huge just totally jacked. They would show him curling up his mattress in his cell. Tying it up and he'd just do squats with it for hours

Forget the haters! There's no shortage of full size pro-ponents on this Tacoma forum. I for one would love to see how the iForce 5.7 turns out in a Tacoma. I agree that for the $ an LS would be sweet but for arguments sake...

Dunno about the 9.5" taco rear end. The Tundra sports a 10.5" I believe, correct me if I'm wrong. I also think the 5sp auto in the Taco is the same trans as the Tundra, at least 06 and newer, again, could be wrong. I'm merely an enthusiast, not an engineer, like so many other other forum jockeys profess to be!

I'd figure wiring would be the big challenge.

Can't wait to see the result!
