I put a remanufactured engine in my truck. I put a external oil pressure gauge in so my oil pressure sensor is disconnected. I haven’t been able to locate a T fitting that would except both! Would this cause my check engine light to come on or cause other problems?

No, as long as you have oil pressure you will be fine.

The only thing that switch does is light an LED when the pressure is low.

The truck don't care if you have it connected or not.

The sensor uses BSPT threads. Most aftermarket sensors use NPT. You may be able to find one with some savvy searching.

I think that I found one, a while ago, or I purchased a BSPT adapter and tapped one of the holes to 1/8" NPT.
