Hi all. Got an 05 Tacoma 2wd 4cyl with an airbag light on. It was my dads, and recently went in less than a year ago for the total frame replacement recall (before I got it). Air bag light has been on since I got it. Did some research on the internet, and found a few things. Supposedly there is a seatbelt retractor issue, and a spiral cable issue in the steering column, both of which can cause this. Checked with the dealer today, and both of those fixes have already been done to the truck. Some more independent research on the internet led me to a bunch of youtube videos that show everyone jiggling and re-connecting all the wiring harnesses under the seats. I did that today, unplugged them all, sprayed contact cleaner on them, and re-connected. It wasn't easy either. I still have an air bag light. Doh! I hooked a code scanner to the diagnostic port, and there are no codes. I cleared it anyways. Still a light. What the hell else could this be? Any ideas? Maybe the frame swap causes this, and something is disconnected or pinched? Dunno where else to look. Please help.

I also noticed there is a key slot to turn the passenger air bag on/off. I turned it back and forth a few times and sprayed some contact cleaner in it. Planning on checking the crash sensors and wiring to them in the bumpers and stuff next.....
