When turning on A/C the unit will sometimes not start on any speed. After a few minutes A/C will start and work with no issues. Very inconsistent....can go a week with no problem and then may occur multiple times in a day??
I installed a new resistor and connector as mine had the tell tale "brown streak on the gray connector.
I am out of tricks......any suggestions?

I'm thinking your next component failure to check or replace may be the blower motor. Keep in mind that the resistor is where the fan gets its speeds, otherwise the motor is just a plain old 2 wire motor that if defective, doesn't care what speed your on, it's not going to do it. I will also suggest that you wiggle the connector on the resistor during one of the times that it will not start. Maybe one of those V shaped pins is not catching the resistor pin as it does after it got loose and got hot. It should not be an issue, but that is a quick/cheap troubleshooting test.
