I just cut the crappy ground clamp off and replaced it with a bananna jack, I usally keep a clamp on it but if I want I can put a backprobe or other test lead on it.

ah thats how your using it. that makes so much more sense. you can back probe a connector and then touch the light to ground instead of having it clamped on a ground and doing it the way ive been doing it

Yea I also often use it with this for interior testing where known good power and ground aren't always conveniently available.

Yea it's meant for use with a Power Probe, mine came in my Power Probe kit. I rarely use the Power Probe itself but I use the cigarette adapter quite often for convenient power and ground when testing.

So just send my piggyback ECM back to gadget. Hopefully he either tells me it's fine or we find out what's wrong with it. Because new ones are 2k and not in stock. So having to purchase a new one would be unfortunate

    2k?!
You could have your stock PCM tuned for way less than that if it's possible to do it which I don't see why it wouldn't be since there's already a factory supercharger tune.

Idk if it would be the same since I have a full built motor with different cam gears. But I sent it off so hopefully will find out what's wrong with it if anything. Then when I get it back I think I need to have it tuned anyway for precision

What piggyback would you potentially need? I think I have one on the shelf, gadget has it tuned for a supercharger but I’m still na

Got my piggyback ECM back and truck started right up. Has a wierd lope to it where even if I hold the gas peddle a bit it ramps up and down rpm wise. Doesn't throw any codes but I'm thinking it may be some sort of timing issue?
