I have used 05 Tacoma dbl. cab with 75k on it (love the truck to death, my 2nd taco owned) So I've read a bunch of threads on raptor lining the Tacoma underbody/frame. I already ordered the raptor liner kit and am ready to go. I just need some help/opinions on how to go about this. My frame isn't rotting but is very badly rusted and fish scaled in spots. I know the liner won't stick to rust and know prepping is everything. I'm prepared to put a whole day into prepping to get this right. But even if I sand, use wire brush, and drill with a wire wheel I don't think ill ever get all the rust off and am worried the raptor liner won't bond, or last being sprayed on that. Is there anything else I can do. I was thinking of an encapsulater spray after prepping my best, then the raptor liner on top but am not sure Any opinions would be great, I know I can't fully stop or fix rust problem but would like the frame to last as long as possible. Thanks

Is this vehicle you daily driver or could you drive something else for a week and do a major job on the frame? Got a garage or barn you could put it on while you work on it? I'm guessing you live in the snow.
