    Fastenall has tracking.

    IDK why people KEEP saying they don't, but it's getting annoying. Can't people pick up a phone anymore? I know I would if I needed to know.

    Find out what location they are shipping from and what location they are shipping to, then call Fastenall and ask.

    Obviously if Fastenall can't find them then they haven't shipped.

    Pretty freaking easy.

    I assume this is for me .

    Actually they don't have tracking . Ive been on the phone with them over a dozen times since April and they already lost the first shipment Eric sent out . So like a good guy he built a second set for me. just trying to get some info on when I can expect them . Fastenals never has any info .

    It's not directed at you - it's for everyone who has shit shipped with them.

    I have a corporate account with them and I was able to track my shipment just fine. I spoke to my salesman....he found out my stuff had not shipped. Once it had actually shipped he tracked it just fine. Maybe your talking to the wrong people :notsure:

    They don't just throw shit on trucks and hope it gets there - everything has a bar code and tracking info on it.

    How do you know your item is "lost" if it was never tracked? My guess is if it never had a bar code it's because it never shipped.

    Maybe because you have a corporate account is why you can track items .
    As far as knowing it got lost . Eric got in touch with his guy and they couldn't locate the shipment . The guys at the store near me told me they can't track it and it gets put on a truck . Not sure how much truth is behind that but that's what I was told .

    There in lies the issue. Not all of us have corporate accounts, or salesmen we can just call up.

    If an average joe calls in looking for their shipment, they'll act dumb unless said shipment is IN THEIR FACILITY.

    One or two things modded... Check out the build thread
    not just that but these are the typical shipments taht they deal with. these are ride back shipments..... hence the deep discount. they dont put the resources into them that go into typical shipments. they just hitch a ride when they can on empty trucks that happen to be going your way.

    I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
    Fastenal sucks. No tracking for retail customers, just LPN numbers which aren't worth shit. I'll never allow somebody to ship something thru them again. I'll buy something else from somebody that doesn't use Fastenal. I'm done with them. I've dealt with CCX, Ward, New Penn, NEMF, Roadway, Jevic, Yellow, Wilson, A. Duie Pyle, Central, and probably 25 others in my line of work. I'm done with this hack shit Fastenal has going.
