What is the cost with the group buy?

 

The last round of the GB closed the first of last month and those guys are getting their reinforcements now. Next GB probably won't be until June at least at this point. Too busy to handle one sooner than that plus we run an annual memorial day sale next month so we anticipate a fair amount of orders during that time. Might be a good time for some to order that can't or don't want to wait for a GB

I'm getting jealous watching these guys start to get their reinforcements!

 

All these group buys and sales are killing me! Hopefully I'll be able to come up with funds for a high clearance rear, but given that I just paid for a RTT in the CVT group buy it might be a little tight.

 

So with he next GB or the Memorial day sale, what is the discount going to be? 15% or 20%

yep most of the powder coated ones left today, a few are waiting to be picked up tomorrow, and a few more will be wrapped to head out tomorrow as well

 

Make sure you check and see if your tailgate is bent already! Other wise its a pain to slide on. My tailgate had body work done to it when i first bought it dealer screwed it up must be slightly off. Also if you unplug your pop and lock make sure you plug it back in!

You did slide on from the side right ? took me a minute to figure that out haha

 

They'll go over the top too. A little snug but it can be done easier that way.

So. foam tape on the top-rear of the tailgate then pop the cover on over it?

 

Foam on the upper outside edge. Dont need it directly on the thin top edge of the tailgate.

Reinforcement delivered today by UPS. Seems they managed not to mangle it...installation looming...

 

First thing i checked was if i could slide over top i would have scratched the whole top lip in the center. I slide it on from the right just took a little more effort that expected. The middle is scrached but not expecting to remove it. The reinforcement is nice happy i ordered it cause now i have a little more peace of mind knowing its stronger. Im a big guy so i could have bent it just sitting on it. Great product wholes lined up right getting my screws tm to mount flush with plastic.
