    Dang man hate to hear it but hey the truck can be replaced your life can't! Hope you have a speedy recovery! Remember your gonna have to push yourself to get the walking part back again. A older woman here didn't and she is now in a wheelchair for life and she could have walked again. Again hope you have a speedy recovery!

    Yeah, the only place not totally destroyed was were I was sitting. I'm not sure why I didn't have major chest injuries because if you look at the steering wheel, even tho the airbags deployed, I mashed the steering wheel all the way into the dash.

    The EMS had to cut my boots off me to get me out. A few weeks ago I took my boots to be repaired and found a piece of rubber that had been imbedded into the side of the heel which is made of wood, the black peice of rubber was embedded into the wood heel about 1/2 inch deep. Amazing what the impact must have been.

    Glad you survived. I have seen quite a few like that that faired far worse. Just count your blessings and realize you are a very lucky man!!
    And yes, the things that Ive seen that been inbedded where you would never imagine are unbelievable!

    it does not matter how safe they make cars or trucks today, when it comes down to a 18 wheeler vs any other type of car the 18 wheeler always wins, God was watching of you that day man.
