05 tensioner pulley replacement

    I am trying to remove the bolt that holds the pulley for the tensioner, i tried both ccw and cw with no movement. I am afraid i will snap it off. i was going to replace the whole thing, but the bottom bolt for the a/c the head stripped off so now i just need to replace the pulley itself. i tried taking the new on off going ccw but it ended up snapping off.

    If it’s the 4.0 engine.
    You are correct.
    It is left hand thread.

    So, you need to “tighten it”. To take it off.
