05 vs 06 engines

    I do not understand why an 05 has more horse and torque than an 06 engine.
    why is that? It makes no sense to me

    theyre the same engine but if i can recall from a previous thread way back its because they changed the way they measure hp from that time. im an idiot but hopefully someone here can elaborate.:D
