    Larry. Use a bigger hammer. With 35s you will rub the UCA and frame slightly. No way around that. All the rest can be cut and moved out of the way

    While rotating my tires today I noticed my driver side wheel bearing was shot. I could shake the wheel up and down, back and forth, and in and out. I was hoping this was the cause of my steering wheel shimmy. Nope, that is a balance issue. I used a Precision bearing assembly(couldn't find Timken). All and All it was a PITA. The race was a bitch to get off. It took a lot of heat and a BFH. On the old bearing, the outer bearing was totally seized. It wouldn't spin a lick. The inner bearing was more or less dry and rusty. 84,000 miles

    I pressed the bearing off, But the inner bearing stayed, got that off and the race stayed on. That was when the PITA started. Had to heat repeatedly heat with a torch and take a BFH to it. Job is done but getting all the old shit off was fun.
