Yeah that’s not going to fly where I live. No wide open spaces for us. Just mud, hills, and tight trails. About the first good creek crossing here and your spares would be holding up your ass in the air

They took in my truck, inspected it all over again. Found the same spots I posted plus the one where the exhaust drops down by the frame and is constant hot cold ya know. Said it really was only the few spots but didn’t pass it inspection sent out the pics to Toyota this time. Called me back today Toyota approved the bad frame the new one is ordered. But anyhow we worked it out with my concerns of them removing the lift and agreed to let me come in and make sure they cut out the DB where I want it cut and give me my parts all back I want to keep. So I’ll be redoing it myself or whatever direction my mind has me going with it between now and then.

In the mean time they gave me the go ahead to do whatever I want to my frame now since a new one is already ordered and the pictures have been taken. I’ve got sheets of metal at the house from past projects so I’m going to experiment with ideas on boxing, get some patterns mocked up and cross brace ideas going

I’m sure I’ll be happy with it other than the hide and seek I’m dreading I’ll be playing on did they leave out any bolts, fluids, caps, connections etc lol

But yeah So after all the hell I caught I guess I’ll be going thru with the new frame. Good news is they didn’t find any other spots I didn’t know about so all in all the frame wasn’t as bad as I feared it could be where I didn’t get to look yet. Those spots are all simple fixes til the time to put it in the shop comes. They’re going to wonder where the bad spots went when I roll in. Anyway guess it could take 1-3 months I was told just to get the parts in. So it’s the waiting game now and I’ll have my cutouts all ready to weld up on the new one

I would ask the good Lord for some common sense and a second chance, if it is at all possible. This shouldn't be that tricky....

Wasn’t a tricky matter? Just looking at different ways it’s been done. There’s always neat little tricks fabricators do and copy from others. But thanks for comment :blahblah:
