My '06 Double Cab needs some help. It seems to be bottoming out alot and was wondering if there are any up-grades I could do it. Would stiffer springs or heavier duty shocks help? If so, which ones would help?

    Thanks

If you are talking about bottoming out with a load in the bed.
    WELCOME TO THE FAMILY.
They have a TSB on the issue where they add an extra leaf spring.
Since you have an '06 warranty isn't likely going to cover it for you.
I would get an Add-A-Leaf myself.

I did a little research and thinking of purchasing the ARB Old Man EMU kit. The kit has higher rate coil-over springs and NitroCharger Sport Struts for the front. On the rear it takes the 5 Leaf Springs with 2 Helper Leaf Springs and the NitroCharger Sport Shocks. I think that it would help it out alot. Also, I believe it will raise the truck maybe 2". Just trying to find a place here in USA to purchase them from.

I just installed the OME Dakar leaf packs and it raised the rear to 26" hub to fender (its tall :p)

The best price I could find for the OME leaf packs was from Down South Motorsports. Handling on the pair of springs was only $45. Other places were asking as much as $150 for shipping.

If you don't mind waiting about 2 weeks I'm going to be selling my entire Toytec lift kit which includes Toytec front coilovers w/ Bilstein 5100 shocks, rear 4-leaf TSB springs with an additional Toytec AAL, rear Bilstein 5100 shocks, Light Racing upper control arms, extended u-bolts, axle shims, and sway bar relocation kit. I may also have extended stainless steel brake lines available around then too.

I'm in Centreville, VA, close to Dulles airport. PM me if interested :)

iron man front coils rated for 275lb extra weight and dakar add a leaf, iron man struts in the front (made for 3" lift) and billstein 5100's (made for the 3" lift) in the back, i have a 2006, tried all kinds of stuff, this setup works perfectly! ride is better than stock on the road and great off-road! adds a little load capacity in the back to. highly recommend!

i got the springs and leaf for 3" lift btw, not sure if you are wanting lift or not.

i got billsteins from downsouth and springs, struts, dakars from toytec, doing every wrench turn myself i spent about $800

Nope, upgraded to a King 2.5" remote resi setup with Total Chaos UCAs so the ToyTec lift parts have to go. :)
