06 rear leefspring problem

    Hello forum nation. I recently took my truck in for a recall on the rear leefspring . My truck was running fine at the time. When they gave me the truck back. I noticed noise when I turned under the driver seat. The next day my truck starts vibrating get going 20 miles per hr on up. So I took it back to the dealership ship and had them look at it. They said it has a p2714 error code. Im thinking when they installed the new leefspring they messed up my tran

    I had vibrations from 25-40 mph after I got new rear springs from my accident. Tightening up the 4 nuts under each spring pack got rid of it for me, I had no codes though so you are on your own there.

    sounds like you hight have a bad drive line. they could have removed the rear half of it and didn't mark it now the balance is off I would hope a dealer wouldn't do this. drive lines are balanced one way and if you put it on the wrong was it throws it all out a walk. it could also be your front leaf spring hanger could be loose. as far as you code this might help

Possible symptoms Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) P2714 TOYOTA Description The Linear Solenoid Valve (SLT) control the transmission line pressure for smooth transmission operation based on signals from the throttle position sensor and the vehicle speed sensor. The Engine Control Module (ECM) adjusts the duty ratio of the SLT solenoid valve to control the hydraulic line pressure coming from the primary regulator valve. Appropriate line pressure assures smooth shifting with varying engine outputs.

    check all your connections on your trans. unplug inspect then put some dielectric grease on the connection then plug back in.
