since you guys are always so helpful i figured id ask in this group before i go taking things apart.

would it be possible for a evap system failure to cause a start/stall issue? i have cleared every code as well as gone through everything and still haven’t found the issue causing my truck not to run.

I've never seen an EVAP problem cause a no start or start/stall exept with a leaking purge valve on a full tank of gas.

Is your security light next to the clock flashing with the key on?

Does it start and immediatly stall, not start at all, or stall after a few seconds?

the red light that looks like a car with a key in it flashes with key on as well as with the key completely out.

it began as start then as soon as i let off the starter it died. i checked my fuel in the engine bay and now it is crank no start at all.

If that's flashing with the key on it means the engine is immobilized, either it can't read the chip in the key or there's another problem with the immobilizer system.
Do you have another key you can try?

That's the immobilizer light, if it continues to blink with the key in the ignition, that's a problem. Try your spare key.

i have used my daily key as well as a backup and a key that was in a lock roller i had laying around. nothing changed with any of them.

the red light goes away with my spare key but the truck is still stall/start

Have you successfully started the truck in the past with either of the backup keys? It's possible they're not programmed and meant just to unlock doors, though that seems unlikely. The more likely scenario is that the actual immobilizer is causing issues.

Your gona need someone with a scanner that can communicate with the immobilizer system to see what's going on with it.

Unplug the fuel pump resistor (grey box in front of the battery) and jump power to the Black/Red wire and see if the fuel pump runs.

ran a jumper from thee red/black wire on the resistor plug to the positive battery terminal and could hear the pump running. tried to start the truck with 12v straight to the plug and is still start/stall
