06 Tacoma won't start, no clicking sound

Brand new battery and brand new alternator, drove it around a bit it sat overnight and now it won't start. Tried to jump it and that didn't help.

 

Have you checked the starter? Give it a couple taps with the hammer. If that taps work then it's going bad.

If all the tests pass and you still are having issues check the Starter solenoid contacts they could be burned, but are very easy to replace on the cheap.

give it a good 'ol continuous tap with screwdriver and hammer as you're trying to start. It probably needs to be replaced

check 140A alt fuse in the main fuse box, 15A and 10A IGN IGN NO.2 fuses in cab

Maybe the truck is running again and he's too busy driving
