06 Will not disengage 4wd HI, ECU clicking

    That makes sense why our TL1 and TL2 voltages were right, it was losing connection at that point on the contact plate so the 4wd ECU was stopping the actuator there because it thought it was in the 2wd position.

    Apologies for not catching that.

    Dumb question is this thing a manual trans? The reason I ask mine is and if you don't mat the clutch I mean right to the floor the transfer case does strange things. I would kill to have the trans case lever on the floor again they worked. I have not problem locking and unlocking wheel hubs.

    I should have asked you for a picture of the contact plate sooner but I wasn't thinking.
    Anyway glad it's working.

    Try and spin the front driveshaft manually, see if its locked up or not
