07 a/c light flashing

My 07 with v-6 a/c light flashing and cooling going on and off also. Could not find anything in iwners manual

 

Compressor is taking a shit.

Could be the compressor going out. Another issue that has happened in the past is people having the relay fail. You can try swapping the relay to see if that fixes it. If not, the compressor/clutch is failing/failed. Try swapping the "TOWING TAIL" and the "MG CLT" relays in the engine bay panel.

 

Thanks for the replies. First time i ever had one of those go out on any vehicle.

 

If it needed freon it just wouldn't be cold. Light wouldn't blink.

 

Did you get deep in water?, sometimes it could happen after crossing deep water.

 

I will be trying to swap relays first. Ill post the results in a few days, got lots of things going on right now, thanks again
