Been a while, have even shown off my skiders yet. Really like how tight they are and great fit as well. Install was about 2 hours by myself.

New wheel bearing on the driverside was much needed.

noted: This was before I took the flares off. Anybody cut higher than the holes?

Finally found a deal on some FJ Cruiser 17" wheels. We have tons of take off tires from our deep pocket customers so I grabbed a set of 35x12.50

I'm going to swap them out for a set of TOYO MT if possible, I will be purchasing some KO2 tires in this size if I'm going to keep driving it winter/summer.

Started at around 7pm after we finally got the shop all closed up. Quick disassembly with a weird, "Where are all my set up shims?" moment. Ended up with a great pattern and now shims other than 2 for the pinion on the crush sleeve. Pretty amazing to the fact we ran patterns twice and it was perfect!

After running this set up for a total of 84 miles in the past 2 days. What an improvement with the 35" tires on my truck. Starting on the front in the AM, I will be back with an update when I get a chance, Get excited to have a REAL LSD in the rear. I had a small experience with the locker on a dirt road by my house. So cool to feel the traction of a TruTrac! I cannot wait to get these gears bedded and run them on a trail. I live only an EXIT away from the town of Gypsum and the well known trails TIE ROD BENDER, MIDDLE MIDDLE and UPPER MIDDLE. I would only be able to even TRY my truck with TIE ROD BENDER. The others are a very aggressive 37s, lockers f/r kind of trails.

250 miles in and these gears are sounding solid and getting meshed together well!

Well I drained the oil of out of both diffs tonight. Filled with fresh Lucas and went for a little trail drive. The new crawl ratio is awesome! If you are thinking of gears.. JUST DO IT!

I will be posting more of the cutting/trimming as I can get them uploaded. They was about a 5 hour process or forking, marking, cutting, pounding, reforking, recutting and more pounding!

I did spray the now UNLINED inner fenders with Bed Coating spray paint to help with the ugly factor and keep a clean look. So close to getting the factory flare back on after I trim the rear a little bit. They almost didn't need it other than possibly GRABBING the bolt heads from the current inner liners on the rear.

YES! The wheels are plastic dipped and will be trashed by afternoon tmrw, Will be peeling that off and primer with a fresh coat of black. Unsure if I want to do a GLOSS finish or MATTE.

It was very nice to be able to use the forklift and mark all the places it was rubbing. Of course this is no measure for the real world testing it was about to receive.

Well damn, my passenger side axle seal is leaking. I'm pretty sure it has been since we did the re-gear
