    Hey all!

Ok here we go.. been meaning to do this for years and finally getting around to it.

This is Ursula. As she sits June 2018.

FINALLY getting around to writing my own build thread to help out anyone who may be interested in going a similar direction. I spent so many hours on here trying to figure out the best setup for my truck, and it wouldn't have been possible without all the great build on here so this is me paying it forward. The build is geared toward reliability and function, typically anything to do strictly with looks is at the bottom of my list - example: unpainted fenders. It's far from finished, but this year my budget will mostly be spent on maintenance items as the truck is closing in on 300K KM and it's time for some TLC. Other than that armor is top priority, followed by gears.

Bought the truck in 2012 as a camping/exploring rig as well as a daily driver. After lots of research decided I wanted to go long travel right out of the gate, but by then the exchange rate took a shit and it got way too expensive to do in Canada, so ultimately settled on a mid travel setup. Fast forward to 2017 and an opportunity came up to grab a front long travel setup complete with a 2014 front end (steering, brakes, knuckles, CVs, diff) for an amazing price so I jumped on it. Here's a parts list, happy to answer any questions!

So had the truck in for a shop day this weekend, front end check, clean and lube and installed my new cold air intake from URD! Cleaned the MAF and throttle body while I had it all apart too. Got the PnP MAF calibrator with the kit as well, made the install so much easier. Only had it for a couple days but already loving how it sounds, and combined with my headers and full exhaust there are definitely noticeable gains! Snapped the pics before putting on my ingen pre-filter to keep the bugs and shit out of the element.
