2007 Toyota Tacoma AccessCab PreRunner Sport. 4.0 V6, 6spd manual. Fully-Loaded, power windows/locks/mirrors, and keyless entry with both factory fobs. Low miles at ~61,800. Very well maintained, all service done on-time or early. Condition is 9/10. Nice BFGoodrich's with another 20K in them. Truck is clean inside and out, babied since new. Has special "Sport" edition bucket seats, 120v outlet in the bed, hood scoop, 17in alloy wheels, Bilstein shocks, and limited-slip diff. Also has tow hitch, sliding back glass, and I added a K&N air filter and moved the bed tiedowns for use with Motorcycles.

Okay, seriously guys, I'm just scratching my head here....

I've had it listed for a month now on CL, the ad on Autotrader is about to expire (it's been 3 wks), it's on Southern Company (GA Power, Alabama Power, Miss. Power, Gulf Power, etc) internal For Sale section, and it's been listed here for a few days, and i'm getting NO interest. I've met ONE person to actually look at it, an Asian man in his 40's who pulled up in a 99 Accord with rims and a fart can, and he offered me $15K THREE TIMES before I shut things down. That's what Stone Mountain Toyota quoted me for trade-in value, $15K.

I'll get an email asking if it's still available, then never hear from them again. I'll get an email asking if it's been wrecked (which it hasn't), then never hear from them again. In the month it's been listed, i've probably had a grand-total of 4-5 people show any interest at all.

I don't understand. Am I doing something wrong? Is the price too low or too high? I'm at least $2K LESS than the next closest comparable Tacoma in Georgia, so I doubt the price is too high. Is it just bad timing? Any suggestions? I'm lost here...

First off, I love this truck. In socal, you can't even get a sport pkg on the access cab prerunner, let alone in a six speed. The color, condition, everything about your truck is badass.
As far as the craigslist emails asking if it's "still available", ignore all of them. It's spam to get your email address.
I think the main reason it's not getting any hits is the 6 speed, I personally love a manual but most people don't agree with me, especially since it's not a 4x4.
A month is really no time at all, just have a bit of patience.
I'd like to put mine up for sale in socal, and if it sells fly down and buy yours.

 

Yeah, i'm sure someone will come along, I'm just shocked it's taken this long given the market. Most people are busy right now with vacations and kids going back to school, etc. I've price mine just below book because it's not absolutely perfect, but it's in Great shape, well taken care of, and has 15k less miles than comparable Tacomas in my area, who incidentally are somehow asking as much as $22K. I would hope they know they're NEVER going to get that in this market, not with gas and New truck prices as they are. Then again, maybe I'm wrong. Maybe trucks are Still going for more than book, and $20K is a more fair price to be asking. I'll be watching the market to see and may be changing my listing accordingly.
