07 taco making it mine

i just re-read that only the front to are smaller as of now. i was thinking smaller all around when i read it the first time.

 

Yea, I got a good deal but only two of the tires were good so I put them on the front. It looks kinda goofy with larger tires on the rear haha but it's all good. Hopefully I'll get a good deal on two more soon. I can buy two of those tires brand new for $240 so I might end up doing that in a few weeks.

 

Well, I have some progress on this piece. I got four new tires a few weeks ago size 235/30/22. Also I have installed some fog lights that I got for Christmas. And I just ordered up three hid kits: low beams (8k 100 watt), high beams (8k 100 watt), and fogs (8k 35 watt). Also, I ordered some new headlights that have CCFL halos which are four times brighter than normal halos.

Anyone want to see the pictures of the new tires and fog lights?

Here's some pictures for kegstaco:

I got some new, new tires. 235/30/22's, basically some rubber bands. Picked them up pretty cheap and they look good on the truck but now I need to lower it another inch and a half or so to close up the gap (still debating if I want to spend the money and time to do so).

 

Got some fog lights for Christmas as well, mounted them but I still need to wire them up. I think I will tap into the parking light switch so that they come on with the running lights.









And like I said a few post ago, I ordered some more stuff. I got the hid kits coming from hidgeeks.com, which I unfortunately just found out they have ripped off a lot of people. So hopefully I get the parts and everything works right. Because from what I have read their customer service is basically non existent.

 

I got the fogs wired up today, decided to go ahead and tap into the running light circuit and bypass having a switch at all. They will stay unhooked for now until I get the hid kit for them because having hids for low beams and halogens for fogs just doesn't look cool lol.

Also I made the switch to synthetic today and put in five quarts of royal purple 5w30.

 

I don't remember for sure. I did that maybe a year ago and ended up having it repainted by a local body shop last Christmas when I got in an accident and the insurance check covered it. Your better off just having someone else paint it if your thinking about doing it yourself. Mine didn't match too well, but my color is a tough one to match.

 

Went out to the lake today and took some pictures before the sun set. Nothing really new on the truck except for the lightbar. Most of these pictures are with the headlights off and only the halos on.

Finally, new page. Sorry about the pictures on the last page. It's because my computer is a pos. Nothing new audio wise pinktaco. I am just so burnt out on it and don't care.

 

im really wanting to get rid of the orange in my truck as well. Already had the cluster done but need to do clock, ac , airbag, etc what leds did you use and how did you get rid of the orange on the clock pastic?

 

It has been a while since I have posted anything in here. I have been working a lot and most of my money has been going towards other things so I really haven't been able to put much into my truck. I did get some new wheels though, 24x8.5 Akuza black shadow's with a +35mm offset on some 255/25/24 tires. To match the wheels a little better I painted the grill black until I finish doing the satoshi grill I've been working on. I also changed out the headlights and fogs for some black ones and blacked out the taillights with some ppg black base and clear mix paint.
