07 Taco shifted to 4x4 on its own, anyone else have this

07 4x4 trd

My wife and myself was driving and the 4x4 light started flashing while the selector switch was still in 2hi when i stopped and switched from 2 hi to 4hi then back it stopped flashing and 4LO started flashing but 4x4 solid.
i switched key off and on several times even undone battery then unplugged all plugs on transfer case then plugged back up then diff the truck stayed in 4x4 so now i guess i have to take off the front diff actuator and manually slide the sleeve out of lock to free manually anyone else have this problem
