Hey all, working on collecting parts for a SAS on my 07 regular cab 4x4. Before I buy too many (wrong) parts, I have a few questions.

What do you guys do to retain the speedometer? It is my understanding that on stick shift trucks, the speedo gets input from the trans which would be good. I have heard that a bad abs sensor,i.e. I won't have any, will disable the speedo. Is this correct?

I appreciate any input...I am planning on running a 99-04 Ford D60 as FYI.

easiest way imo, would be to get the speed gear unit that goes into the tcase and wire that into your speedo. your tcase should have the provision for it to go in there

I'll check that out...I didn't realize the t case had that provision. I'm eventually going ls/tr4050/atlas so this is just a stop gap for the time being but I like everything working correctly.
