07 Tacoma Door Check Problem

Hello,

I have a regular cab 07 Tacoma I opened the door and heard a pop noise when it went opened Now the toyota dealer is telling me Door Check Broke and took out the Weld on the body no warranty bought new 7/05 /07 53 K Miles now on Truck , All service at same dealer
Went to body shop they say 3,456.00 for a new door installed no other way to fix it
The window only goes 1/2 way down now as track bent . Please help e mail me at Marinlocal@aol.com
